I can’t imagine such a policy being practical, enforceable, or just.
I know several bankers who first met their spouse at the drive-up window. For frontline staff, a policy prohibiting the processing of transactions for a significant other should suffice. I know I didn’t answer your question, Ken, but I didn’t want you to be the only one feeling flabbergasted. There are no federal or state laws that prohibit employee dating, but there are also no laws preventing employers from forbidding employee dating; especially between managers and their direct reports.
